Using Headphones with thick frame glasses

    Hi all,

I am in the market for a headphone. After googling a bit I found Sennheiser Momentum(over ear) for around 300 quid.

The problem I am having is that I don't have much experience with using headphones. So I am worried about comfort. Some articles will say that on-ears are better for people with glasses while other articles will say that over ears are more comfortable. A youtube reviewer said that the Sennheiser Momentum kind of lifted the glasses off of the his friend's nose while using it.

What do you guys think? I have a pretty thick framed pair of glasses. I've tried on on-ear headphones like my gf's Diamond Tears. Didn't really find it uncomfortable but given that I only tried it on for 10 minutes so I wouldn't know if it will get too unbearable after long use.

So anyone have any experience using headophones especially over-ear ones with thick framed glasses. And any thoughts on the Sennheiser Momentum?

    Thanks

OP, I have three pairs of over ear headphones and haven't never had any issues in terms of comfort. I wear specs.

I would defer to others on the Senn Momentum's, I did try them, but they were'nt to my taste. If you're looking for a different recommendation, then I'd suggest something like the ATH M50X's, which I find very comfortable and can be picked up for about 160.

    Conor.
