Hi there i'm currently saving up for the past few months in ireland for the J1 grad visa for new york and am thinking of heading in oct or november but possibly waiting till early srping. Im trying to figure out for sure if this is a good time to go on the visa as Im worried that the winter will be to hard or overwhelming…

Im trying to figure out for sure if this is a good time to go on the visa as Im worried that the winter will be to hard or overwhelming to deal with? also can anyone also advise me if this is a good time to go accommodation wise , i know a few ppl and have a place in a friends for a month while i look for an apt
