Found on end of a grotty vhs tape. Does anyone remember "why" Premiere failed to be shown.

Waste of time looking at that, the first minute consists of a clock ticking away, then there's a 'coming soon' message on the screen for a movie channel.

Why you bothered uploading that is beyond me.

Broadcasting nostalgia. I liked it! Goes to show how far we've come!

Yes, he missed the point. Cablelink made a lot of noise only to suddenly pull the launch of the channel. It never did launch on the night.. and re clock.. tape was "crash" recorded.. so enjoy randomness.

I have a very distant memory of Prem1ere pulling the plug on the basis that agreement had not been reached.

The channel was testing for months if not years and even had freeviews, the first any issue was known with the debut was when the channel did not appear at 5pm on Cablelink on the night of its official launch.
