    Anyone Use Electric Sheep Netting?

seen this in a field this afternoon, and thought it would be good for grazing.

What are the costs of it? where can you buy it?

I've used it too, I think it costs about €100- 110 a 50 mtr roll, you need about 3000 volts in it.....at the start anyway, I used to put up 10 rolls plus and it worked fine but had to have good earths on the fencer.
10 rolls would have 4 kilometres wire in it and be close to the grass as well, bottom strand isn't electrified
I know they can be got cheaper than what I've put up here, we discussed it on boards a good while back, so you search boards and google it.
Most good agri shops would have it or get it for you

Used it for years strip grazing rape, a strip has to be cut through the rape of course, as has been said the bottom strand is not electrified and I used to cut the feed to the next strand up as well, much less chance of shorts then.
Can't remember costs, still have the same eight or ten rolls I had from day one, used to get them from local co-op.
What I liked about them after a bit of practice it was a fairly quick one man job to lift and move them.

If you were running a bout a km of netting together what size battery would you need and what would the batteries cost to buy? Also how long would batteries last?

Used it years ago myself but have changed over to running three strands of electric wire as found it a lot easier to put up and take down and it be a lot cheaper a
