    Hi forum,

I wonder if you can give me your insight.

I'm unemployed and applying for social housing, got absolutely no savings my rent and bills and food is where my JSA money goes.

Storry is that landlord is hiding something, because he asked me to tell that nobody else living in house but myself. There are more residents living in the apartment. I certainly not interested becoming his partner in crime and not interested lying in my application form. What is my options? Go live hostel? How my JSA would get affected? Because being homeless means that im not in position accepting and searching for a job.

    Thanks for reading

Are you renting a single room in an apartment and sharing a kitchen and bathroom with strangers with whom you have no relationship?
Is the landlord living on the premises?
How and to you do you pay your rent?
Do you have a lease or a licence agreement?

posters will be better able to advise you if you answer the above.

    Hey there thanks,

Yes i do rent a room and all facilities are shared with strangers that i have no relationship with.

Landlord is living in premises as well.

I manage my rent and bills staying at the edge all the time, I haven't signed lease or agreement and paying in cash. Thank you
