I have an interview next week for a ce scheme job that I didn't apply for ... I'm currently receiving 40 euro JSA per week and have two small children..

My question is if I show up and get the job does that mean I will get 60 Euro per week? Or if I don't show up will they cancel my payment. I know 40 is not much but believe me it's needed!! Do they really expect me to work 19.5 hours for 60 Euro a week? And what do they expect me to do with my kids while I'm in work? 60 is not gonna pay anyone to mind them.

Id appreciate your advice I'm starting to really worry. Thanks

The ce rate for a single person is €208 and there is an allowance for each child, think its around €13, if you take the c.e. you will sign off JSA

And if you are on a CE scheme, you can avail of heavily subsidised childcare in a community crèche.
