Best free anti-virus - Windows XP

Yes I still have XP , and of course MSE dont work anymore , so I have been using Avast free for the last 6-8 months .

Now Avast has expired and they looking for €15 to update .

What is best free antivirus for XP .

I have used avg free forever. But I think most free anti-virus programs are very good.

I personally would never trust Avast again after reading this:

Coupled with the above recommendations, run the free version of MBAM weekly, plus no-script in your browser and you should be fine

No-script is great, takes a bit to learn but is very worth having. adblockplus.
Basic firewall, limit browsing to limited accounts. If using avgfree click out any offers to upgrade, extra features. They are minimal. Maybe two a month.
