Quick Mortgage Question...

    Hello all,

We're about to return home and have had a significant savings account with INGDirect (now Tangerine) in Canada. We'll do the usual shopping around through all the banks and building societies obviously for a mortgage once we get back, but having been gone from Ireland for a few years and having no current history with my own bank, does Tangerine have an Irish counterpart etc. that we could apply to for a mortgage. Just wondering really, be nice to have all this history that we could use, or maybe our local banks will recognize statement summaries for credit ratings and our savings history?

    Any opinions welcomed! Thanks all.

Bring your bank statements current and savings for past 12 months from Canada. You should have no problem once you have a permanent job here and you can afford a mortgage.
