    What's your favourite Sunday roast?

For me, it's chicken. I love preparing it and serving it up with mashed potatoes, croquettes, Yorkshire Pudding, broccoli, carrots, stuffing and gravy.
Could eat it every day...then you've got the ubiquitous chicken and stuffing sambo for later!

What's your favourite roast? What do you have with it?

Rib of beef beats watery chicken hands down. Pork would be a close second.
I serve it with homemade roasties, homemade pickled red cabbage and various other veg and homemade gravy to finish it all off.

Beef's gorgeous too, but my chicken is never watery!

I put carrots, celery, onions and garlic in a tray, place the bird on top.
Place some garlic and slivers of onion inside the chicken, then rub rosemary and a crumbled chicken Oxo on top of the bird, wrap in foil and roast til cooked.

Juicy everytime! Oh and don't forget the crispy skin ;)

Is it weird that I kinda thought Kathy Griffin was kinda ok looking in that one, kinda?

Sounds lovely, if you could just get a roast of chicken skin then I'd convert.;)

    Funny, I never liked lamb.
I tried to convince myself it was like roast beef, but it's clearly not. It has its' own distinctive, slightly sweet taste that I don't like.

Am I the only one who hates roast dinner? Chicken is ok, but the rest of them, beef, ham, lamb, etc., I just can't stand.

I'm the only person in my house who loves a bit of roast leg of lamb, so unfortunately it's a no go area for the Sunday roasts. Slow-cooked roast lamb with rosemary and garlic is mighty tasty.....yum.

Oh don't get me wrong..I watch enough cookery shows to know that lamb looks amazing. I've seen lamb shanks and legs of lamb that make my mouth water..I just don't like the taste.

But I feel for you. My OH loves liver but we dont have it in the house because we can't stand it!

No one but me likes it in our house either and I can't justify buying a whole joint just for myself. It's a bummer.

Nothing tastier than roast lamb with rosemary, potato dauphinoise and loads of veg. It's food heaven.

    Chicken!!!

You are an aristocrat.....salty skin too and onions floating around in the gravy.

Surprised at how everyone likes chicken over beef. I only roast chickens so that I don't get sick of roast beef. Can't make decent gravy with chicken whereas beef gravy is the shiznit.

The Turkey and Ham from the carvery at the local hotel!

Add mashed spuds, gravy, broccoli, carrot, the job!
