Best polish/compound to remove swirl marks?

    Hi guys,

I have a white car and a rotary mop and after lots of mopping with G3 I can still see swirl marks in the right sun light or in my well lit bay.

I clayed the car then mopped it with G3 followed by 3M Finesse It.

I then used AG Super Resin Polish followed by Harly Wax.

It looks great in normal daylight for a white car!

My question is can anyone recommend a Polish/compound to removed the swirl marks?

    Thanks in advance :)

What pads are you using on the rotary with the G3?

Personally, I've never been let down by Menzerna FG500 with an orange HexLogic pad.
And Menzerna FG400 is even better again by all accounts, especially when you need excellent results from a single stage mop job.

Not expensive and a bottle goes a long way.

Can I ask where you buy the Menzerna products from?

    Thanks again.

The only problem is that menz is very dusty.
I am currently using Wolfs chemicals polishes and find them very good.
No dust and great cut and shine.

Here is my sons E60 we did recently with Das6 pro + MF cutting pad and Wolfs Correctional utility. ( I would use equalizer next time on bmw paint )

Finished it with a green hex pad and Wolfs the medium.

I've been using FG400 recently. Very good but like Vectra said dusty. Very good cut though.
    Heres my before and after

It very much depends on the paintwork you are working. Type of car and amount of swirls. For example on BMW paint I'd use either Wolf's Equalizer or Scholl Concepts S3 Gold, on whatever pad was giving me the necessary results.
Then finishing I often use CG’s V38 as it can be worked for a long time without drying out.

Everyone will have their own preferences as different pads and polish combos react in different ways.

That is exactly why I use the Wolfs polishes.

FWIW, I'm sure I read somewhere that Scholl polishes are manufactured by Menzerna.

Think you might be right dude. It seems both are manufactured by GmbH

    Whats Scholl like dustwise?

I hadnt heard that before - if they are, they are vastly different polishes, and perhaps they use their better polishes for the Scholl range.
Bit like some of the electronic companies the way they have a premium range and a budget range; just the premium range has the latest technology or cased more sleek!

GmbH is the German way of saying "Ltd" - a company with limited liability!

Scholl is quite good for low dust....the Menzerna polishes are quite dusty, and I find they dry out quickly, but they certainly do a job; they're not bad polishes. I just prefer being able to work a polish more!
