06 Almera problem

I have a 1.5 petrol Almera. Recently it has started losing power and almost cutting out on the road. The car drives fine most of the time but it needs to be fixed asap. It has roughly 150,000 km on the clock and was serviced about two months ago before it was put through the NCT.

Any ideas on what it could be? From searching on google it seems to be a common problem with this model.

Also worth noting that it does this at random with no warning lights on the dash either.

really could be anything only inspection or test drive from experienced mechanic could tell ( think along the lines of air, fuel , spark to begin with .. fuel pump/filter , ignition coils / crank sensor , any oil down filled up the sparkplug holes , oil level OK, temp gauge OK ,
