9 speed 10 speed compatability

Tech question, I hope someone can help.
My turbo bike is full ultegra 9 speed,
All my road bikes are ultegra 10 speed.
I recently broke my collar bone so when I get back I will be spending a lot of time on the turbo.
I want to buy a powertap and switch the wheels between the turbo bike and my road bikes.
I have done some searching and discovered the jtech ShiftMate which seems to allow 9 speed shifter with 10 speed cassette.
My question is should I use a 9 or 10 speed chain on the turbo and has anyone any experience with the shiftmate

    Any help greatly appreciated.

Could you change the cassette on the powertap wheel? Put 9 spd on when you want to use it on the turbo, then 10 spd on it for your other bikes.

Thanks Raam. I might go with that. I just like to have as few excuses to get on the trainer as possible. I know changing the cassette doesn't take long. Now I think about it, for the first month or 2 I will be turbo only, so I can just leave the 9 speed cassette on.
