Hi .. I have booked a flight for next easter via British Airways but the operator of the flights is us airlines...I have read a few reviews about how bad their fleet is for in flight entertainment , space etc....any one out there done this particular journey on a 767 200

Apparantly if the flights are very busy they sometimes upgrade the plane ..heres hoping ?

On the up side the fares were very good , we are flying onwards with them to LA after philly

If it was just me I wouldn't really care ..but I am travelling with kids

Any info would be great or best seats etc

    Thanks

    Ruby

I have its a very old fashioned plane. There is no seat back TV's just a projector at the front and a few old fashioned crt monitors hanging from the roof of the aisles. The food is ok and they give free soft drinks and usually pretzels. I have never seen them upgrade the plane in fact if its not busy they can downgrade it to at 757. Bring a tablet for the kids as you will need it.

The A330-200 is scheduled for the summer April-October however it could easily change to a B767-200 outside peak parts of the summer. Its to early to say what it will be operated by but you should have a good idea by end of the year. Just check US Airways website.

    Hi.
We travelled with them as the price was a very good one but what a mistake!
It was the equivalent of flying Ryanair transatlantic.
There was a totally basic inflight service. The plane was incredibly uncomfortable and don't even get me started on the staff! They were unbelivably rude. They had a couldn't care less attitude and there was no just were simply not interested.
The whole flight was so bad that I actually emailed their Customer Services Department which was a complete waste of time. They weren't remotely interested. So if they were giving away free flights I would never fly with them.

We flew United Airways to Charlotte and on to Orlando on the B767-200 a few weeks ago and to be honest it was grand. We usually fly Delta to the States but got a great deal with United. I was dreading the flight after reading reviews but i actually found the seats more comfortable than our last flight with Delta (neither of us have long legs though!) I knew beforehand that we wouldn't have out own TV sets so I downloaded a movie onto my iPad and took a few books. Service was better than expected and the meals were quite nice (for airline standard).

I dont think United fly that route to Orlando. I think you mean US Airways.
