Where's the best chipper in Arklow for the Freshest Fish and Chips?

Any places that batter their own fish to order so to speak?

Tradewinds and Burger Hill seem to be the best. I've only tried Vito's and Macari's once but wasn't really impressed enough to go back.

Burger Hill had nicer chips for a while but Tradewinds are back around the same standard.

    Only my opinion, of course.

Definitely Trade Winds for fish & chips. Burger Hill is probably the best all round chipper but thwir chips are the best in town.

Burger Hill is on the Main Street, up the hill and on same side of the road as the Roman Catholic Church.

Tradewinds is Lower Main Street. If you head down Main Street, go straight at the junction for the bridge and it's on the right side on a one-way street.

Definitely Tradewinds, nothing beats their smoked cod, chips and a Yankee dip!

They have a deal on fish & chips too, every first Wednesday of the month it's a fiver.

Do tradewinds batter the fish fresh to order so to speak?
