[MISSING PERSON] John Ryan

    A friend of mine, John Ryan has gone missing.

    Gardaí in Co Meath are appealing for the public's assistance in searching for a 20-year-old man.

    John Ryan was last seen at his home in Mornington, Co Meath on Tuesday 19 August.

    He is described as being 1.85cm (6'1") tall, of thin build, with dark brown hair and green/blue eyes.

    When last seen he was wearing a navy jacket, beige coloured jeans and navy shoes.

    Anyone with any information is asked to contact Ashbourne Garda Station on 01-8010600, the Garda Confidential line on 1800-666111 or any garda station.

    Fingers crossed that he's found ok. Does he have any distinguishing features (visible tattoos, piercings etc) that might help somebody in the search?

    So sorry to hear that OP - I rang the guards just today to report that I thought I had possibly seen him a few days ago (I only read he was missing last night) - so I really hoped that he would turn up for you guys. My sincerest condolences.

    Terrible news. Looking at his picture, a tall handsome bloke, you'd say the World is his oyster. I hoped for better news.

    The poor guy. I was in Dublin last night, and there were posters/flyers up everywhere. I just hoped that he would be found safe and well. Awful to hear that this is not the case. I hope that he has peace now, wherever he may be.
