3 systems in the Eastern Pacific at the moment. From the left, Karina - currently a minimal hurricane with 75 mph winds. Lowell is a tropical storm with 60 mph winds. Marie currently has 60 mph winds, but is forecast to become a strong hurricane in 2/3 days with winds of 130+ mph. It appears a Pacific El Nino maybe one of the causes of quite an active Eastern Pacific hurricane season this year, while also causing a fairly quiet (Arthur & Bertha so far) Atlantic one.
