Like, they couldnt possibly be cosy in those stupid-lookin outfits & ribbons in their hair. I love my dog, but all she has in her wardrobe is her collar & lead for walkies.

We had an old arthritic JRT when I was very young, and he had his own little coat because he felt the cold too much in the winter. He loved his walkies with his little jacket on, keeping him cosy in his old age.

    Pink tutu's though?...No. Just no.

    Doggy style is great.

Can get the ride and also post here while doing so without herself getting all tetchy.

Catchy title for your thread ...

My dog hates the rain. When I open the door at walkie time and she sees rain she walks right back to the sofa.

Bought her a fancy doggie raincoat. She still refuses to go out and if I drag her she walks reluctantly with her head down as if saying: I don't want to be seen dead over the garden fence with that coat.

So no, no fashion for doggie darling. She does prefer soft fabric collars to stiff ones (leather or plastic) though. And she likes freshly laundered blankets.

And well, dogs are no barbie dolls to be dressed up. They do like perfume though - in form of rolling in big and small droppings of other animals

Every other thread in After Hours always ends up with someone demanding scientific proof, so I'm gonna do it now. Where is the scientific proof that doggies need jumpers?

Did you ever notice some of the teenagers out walking the dog?
They no more want to be out walking the dog than the man in the Moon...
I think the oul fella says 'turn that fcukin computer off ya lazy wee fcuk, and take that fcukin dog for a walk'...
    Anyway just an observation!
