Sony Xperia E1 Facebook App.

    Hi,

    Today I updated my Sony Xperia E1 to the new version of Android, Kitkat. For some reason when the update was complete my Facebook app had been deleted and when I tried to re install it on the Play store it gave me an error saying "Incompatible Update".

    I looked through the reviews of the Facebook app in the Play store and other people with this phone seem to be having the same problem.

    Does anyone know why this has happened and is there any way I could fix it? Is it a problem with the app itself or the update on my phone?

    Weird...

    Unless for some reason FB haven't updated their app to work with your phone as of yet?

    Can you not access it via the browser until they get the app sorted?

    Or even try getting it from a different app store like Amazon?

    I use FB via the browser, haven't had the app on my phone in years!

    Thanks, I'm going to use it via the browser until Facebook hopefully sort it out :)

    I just use the app so I can get notifications on my phone when someone messages me.

    Hi I am in same position, updated Sony E1 and am having same problem reinstalling Facebook, can access it via browser although. Cheers
