Help! Quality Dimmer Switches & Sockets - ASAP

    Hi,

    Hoping someone can help me find some dimmer switches as in this link:

    I've checked an electrical wholesaler in Blanch, Woodies, Homebase & B&Q and if they have them then the quality is terrible - they lmainly ook cheap and tacky.

    I then came across the one from the link above tonight but haven't had a chance to check it out in person.
    Even so, it seems a bit overpriced as there is a 30 euro (approx) difference between that and most retailers in the UK.

    I also need to get matching plug sockets and single & dual dimmer switches as well.

    So, does anyone have any recommendations of where to get similar style but quality units and at a decent price in or around the Dublin area.
    They could also be polished chrome/steel, so long as they are quality.

    Unfortunately, i also need them by Tuesday at the latest. I can also travel up to an hour outside of Dublin if necessary.

    I would suggest doing a search for 'electrical wholesalers' & patiently ringing each one looking for stock.
    What you are looking for is not unusual & their quality will be better than a retailer.
    Your electrician can always purchase them for you if they won't sell direct.

    Contact CEF , give them a list of what you want and see if they can do you a deal. They have a branch in Finglas, there's also another wholesalers a few units down called Michael Garrys, you could get a price from there too

    I fitted my own house out with brushed chrome flat range , CED I think. Purchased in N2 Electrical just outside Ashbourne, maybe give them a bell as well.
