    Woman's car failed on these on the front for corrosion. Are these expensive to replace?

    Seems to be the in-thing with NCT testers these days. Can be very expensive on some cars (older Nissans & Toyotas) but cheap enough on Skoda's and VW's in general. Although there's then the cost of fitting them because it usually involves quite a lot of stripping to get at them. I often wonder if they could be designed with slots rather than holes to allow fitting without having to remove brake discs and hubs. Would save a lot of time and hassle.
