Does anyone know what the difference is between

    Mathematics(Honours) and Mathematical Studies ?

I'm going into first year physics.

In most courses with maths you have the choice of ordinary or honours maths, so I'll assume that's what you're seeing here.
You don't get any extra credits for taking honours, but it allows you to pick more maths oriented subjects in second year and onwards.

"Mathematics" is honours maths. "Mathematical studies" is pass maths
