My arrow went so far to the left it left my screen and started drawing a line across my wall.

I was in with a shot until the last 2/3 questions on personal responsibility and the plaintiffs lawyer shot up like a rocket.

    Very interesting! Thanks for posting.

I was heading left, but being one of those annoying "can see both sides of any argument" people, I was selected.

I'm so far right Fox News called. Apparently the defendant loved me though.

I'm so far right, I'm practically the defendant. Unfortunately the plaintiff's lawyers rejected me.

Yeah. They put me over beside Genghis Khan too.

The funny thing is that if I thought that the bank actually fcuked up somebody's investment, I'd have no sympathy for said bank whatsoever.

Not as right as I though I'd be - need to start re-reading my Burke, Disraeli and Hyeck.

Call your boss, you're on the jury.
Neither side has significant concerns about you. It's time to break the news to your boss. Welcome to the jury!

I ended up right in the middle. According to that I'm the perfect person for jury service.

I was drifting left (plaintiff) until the last few questions. I'm on the jury! Hope there's free donuts...

I was ruled out on the basis of three answers that would apply to almost everyone: I do crosswords, have a relative in finance, and believe that investing is similar to gambling, which the website admits is a "common" position.

In Ireland, each side may peremptorily reject only seven or eight jurors.

The situation is even more restrictive in NY and other US jurisdictions.

Given how low the threshold for exclusion is in those questions, and given that only seven or eight individuals can be excluded from a panel without cause, the quiz seems unlikely to have much accuracy in Ireland or in the USA.

Unless you think a judge is likely to view 'doing crosswords' as being sufficient cause.

    Well, maybe only the Simplex.

The cynical nature of jury selection sometimes goes to show that you don't want certain things going to a jury.

    Judge shopping ftw.

Rejected :-( apparently the defence love me though.

Interesting post, I always wonder what strategies or research are used selecting juries
