Earning points on Etihad operated Aer Lingus flights.

    Morning all,

Does anyone know the position regarding Gold Circle points on Etihad-operated flights? I'm flying to Kuala Lumpur in two weeks and considering Etihad, purchased via Aerlingus with an Aer Lingus flight number. Earning GC points would seal the deal.

A mail to Aer Lingus indicated that it wasn't possible to earn GC points on Etihad but I'm double checking as my question may have been misunderstood.

    Thanks!

    K.

Ask on the EI facebook page...they will find out or at least put you in contact with the GC section.

I assume you are a GC member and emailed them?

    No points

But at least you can use the lounge in Dublin, as you should have 'Sold as EIxxxx' on the boarding card
