picking modules for course?

    hello all,

I started to register for my new course the last half hour or so, earth/ocean science at nuig 1st year.

Everything seemed to be pretty straight forward enough but it never gave me the option to select any modules after the 'fee section' like it said it would.

So now under the course section of the nui reg page it says

    'status: registered'

    'module code eos 104'

    'module type: core'

    'semester 2'

    'credits 15'

so all that means i am now registered for 'introduction to earth and ocean science' right?

what about the rest of them/other 45 credits?

i cant seem to find anywhere to register the rest of the modules.

I have a proof of reg statement that tells me im registered for 15 credits/ 60 required

Me thinks me may have made a balls of it along the line folks and any help would be appreciated :o

If there was a continue option beside the finish button then your module selection is after the survey you take

It would be very unusual to pick your modules in advance of first year registration. I'm not sure how EOS runs so I could be wrong but typically you have a period at the start of most modular courses where you are free to attend multiple modules and must make your final choice after the evaluation period. The admissions office normally have a team of extra staff manning the desks and phones for registration so they should be able to answer the query.
