    01 5 series The battery is dead and I can't open the car keys don't seem to want to open the car any ideas on how to get in don't want to break any windows

    Insert key, lift handle, turn key to open lock.

    Battery is in the boot though, also opens with the key turned to the right....

    Sometimes the key slot is very stiff to turn from never being used. Don't break the key though.

    Wd40 and left it an hour opened second time cheers
