Michael O'Leary announced new routes today and increased services on other routes. Should be good news for some.

New routes are Zaventem (Brussels), Nice (not so new though, more of a reintroduction), Prague, Basel, Marrakesh, Lisbon, Bucharest, Glasgow and Cologne.

It's interesting to note the move from some of their traditional bases to the main airports such as Brussels and Glasgow. It'll be more interesting to see what the "goodies" are that are referred to in the article.

As someone who has no real preference between EI and FR this (for me at least) is a good thing.

Yeah, that 1 hr train journey from Preswick (I think its called) into Glasgow is a pain alright. The trains are frequent and the ticket is cheap as chips, but its still a pain.

Great news on Brussels too. The buses from Charleroi to Brussels Central are not so frequent & are a lot more expensive.

Are there any links to timetables, or is it a bit soon. Would be interested in the Brussels flight, especially if there was an early evening one.

Don't know about timetables, but flights are up on the Ryanair website - just looking at Dublin - Morocco now.

Maybe they're up now, tried earlier today but only choice from Dublin to Belgium was Charleroi. I'll have a look now.

Charleroi times will be moved to Brussels with Charleroi keeping a 4 weekly or daily service.
