Crime witness

    Hi all.
    I was a witness to a robbery worth maybe up to 2k and the mans livelihood bothered for a lil while.

    To make a long story short I was the main witness to these scum bags stealing and they will remember who it was anyway I think..

    I called the guards , they arrived took details and caught them..
    The guards took a statement off me no prob I told them everything and the guard told me that I'm the and only reason they are charging the scum bags.

    I was not too worried about going to court at the start until I realized that I knew this guys mates who are proper scum ofcourse and a couple of them know everything about me and where I live and where family lives...

    Also people in my family know all about these guys as they live near family members, I can see younger cousins getting grief maybe just for one example!
    I'm not exactly far myself a 15 minute walk!

    Is there any way I can get out of this?
    I'm due to be called as a witness real soon.

    Could I leave my statement with guards to read out and avoid court?

    From your post at this piont you have received no threats or intimidation what so ever.

    Best let it run it's course and see what happens. Chances are the offender will plead guilty and nothing will ever come of this.
