Semester I start date for MSc?

Does anyone know what date the semester starts for masters students? I thought it was the start of september but someone told me it's usually the end of septemeber so looking for some clarification.

Week 1 starts September 8th for all taught students. Orientation week for new students is the previous week. If you're doing a research masters, you will arrange your own start date with your supervisor.
