Just finished watching this. Good documentary. It's scary that IS have taken such a hold over Syria and Iraq.

These thugs should not be glorified as Mujahedin and the like. Truth is most of them are people born in the West of Pakistani or North African origin or else they are Chechens. Such foreign fighters have gone to Syria, Iraq, Israel/Palestine and Afghanistan with one clear aim: to stir up trouble.

Why have these people, common criminals, become so powerful to the point where they could take over 2 countries at the door of Europe, Turkey and Iran and who could find support in other Arab nations in the Arabian peninsula and North Africa? What can be done to stop them?

Unfortunately, al Qaedaism has become a huge problem. In the 1980s, these drug dealing savages were used gladly against the USSR. They became too big for their boots and the policies of Bush and Blair only fed them more and thus Islamic State (Satanic State more like it) or ISIS or al Qaeda in Iraq or whatever they like to call themselves are yet another cruel, murderous narcoterrorist group that once again threatens everywhere.

The doors are well opened to fuel them in other arenas. You bet those firing rockets at Israel are 90% foreign Islamic State fighters who Hamas are naive enough to 'trust'. Meanwhile, we see attempts by them to take over in Egypt, Libya, etc. They nearly formed a state in Mali under the guise of AQIM (al Qaeda in the Maghreb) while al Shabaab control large parts of Somalia. Boko Haram are a major problem in Nigeria and now pose a threat to Cameroon and Chad too.

This extremism poses a huge threat to the world. It is the worst movement since Nazism. Worse, it all seems centrally commanded. A whole movement to give voice to embittered, downtrodden Sunni Muslims from West Africa to Indonesia and then to brainwash them to tolerate and participate in acts of terror. Rising the third world fights back banner, they are often seen as heroes by the misguided on the streets of Kano, Mogadishu, Ndjamena, Khartoum, Baghdad and Damascus.

Their enemies? US, EU, UK, Iran, China, Russia, India, Israel and ruling Arab royal families. All 'heretics' in their eyes for being either secular, Christian, communist, Shia, Hindu, Jewish, atheist, or corrupt.
