How does this cert compare to Linux + or a red hat cert?

Red hat > Linux Professional Institute > Linux+ > Linux Foundation (I'd imagine this is where it sits)

I am doing a similar course with the Linux Foundation and edx.
It's an introduction course that usually costs $2400 and is free over the summer. You might still be able to register?
There is no limit or prerequisites to enrol and you can even "audit" and keep the course's materials, tests, and have access to the forums associated with the course. Otherwise, you can complete the course and get a completion certificate for free.

I am almost finished and planning on doing the the LPI Linux Essentials

    and LPIC-1 Exams.
