Starting in amsterdamn, from there we want to go to Berlin, Prague, Budapest and Dubrovnik but we want to fly home from Budapest because it's cheaper? Is t possible how would we plan that route?

Dubrovnik jars very much with your start and ending points. You would have to go a good bit out of your way to get there and then back to Budapest for a return flight. Prague to Dubrovnik would take a full day I would expect. Bear in mind there are no trains to Dubrovnik so you would don't have the overnight train option. I would say that if you are determined to do Dubrovnik on this trip then cut out Budapest and fly back from Dubrovnik.

Amsterdam to Budapest is a decent distance to cover in 15 days. Plenty to cover. You should consider having a look at Vienna and (less so) Bratislava. Dresden is also on route for you and supposed to be well worth a look.

I would advise giving Berlin more time than any of the other cities you have mentioned.

Is that route possible? Yes but you'd be wasting a huge amount on time on a 14 day trip. Dubrovnik is a nice spot but it would take a full travel day to get there from Budapest, not sure if it would be worth it. I'd pick another city along your route i.e. Dresden, Munich, Vienna, Bratislava (wouldn't recommend there though). Also try using bahn.de, decent website for checking whether cities are linked by trains, if you'd need connections, length of trip ect.
