    As the title says....

My wife is due an upgrade and is more than happy to plough on with her iphone 5. Its a great plan in terms of the monthly tarrif but crap for handset prices. I'm not due my upgrade till February and my handset costs are normal.

So was thinking of selling my One M7 and using the cash to upgrade to the One Mini 2. And then when my own upgrade was due in February getting the One M8 and retiring the other as a great back-up.

    Madness?

Any one any thoughts? I only really use it for the bog standard social media, photos, music, etc. Nothing too heavy or crazy.

Will you get much for the m7 at this stage? If you have to wait until Feb for the upgrade, you may as well hold on another month or so for the m8's successor. I didn't even know there was a one mini 2 so can't really offer much advice on that front. I'll probably be keeping my own m7 for another couple of years, not seeing much need to upgrade tbh

See them going for 270 or so on adverts which is what the mini costs on the wifes plan. I just like to change all the time!! Bored.

That seems high to me for an M7. Don't get me wrong, it's a fine phone and I have one myself, but tbh if I was selling it I'd be happy to get around 230/240 for it. Maybe if it's nerwork unlocked it's worth a few quid more.

The M7 has better specs than the One Mini 2, so technically it'd be a downgrade.

    See the comparison here:

I'd stick with the One M7 tbh.
