BTEA going into 2nd year

Hi, does anyone know if I could apply for BTEA this year. I started a level 8 course last year, but i was refused btea due to their criteria at the time. I am going into second year now, and I meet the criteria under there new system brought in on june 2014. I am on jobseekers allowance for the summer and I was on the dole…

Hi, does anyone know if I could apply for BTEA this year. I started a level 8 course last year, but i was refused btea due to their criteria at the time.

I am going into second year now, and I meet the criteria under there new system brought in on june 2014.

I am on jobseekers allowance for the summer and I was on the dole for two years previously to startling college last year.

I know the answer is probably no, as i read online it has to be at year one of a course, but I was just wondering if this is the case, and would I have a chance of getting it.

Go in to your local office and ask, or call/visit citizens information!! I hope it works out for you.
