Baggage allowances, AerLingus

I have a 25 kg baggage allowance for an Aer Lingus flight next month. Does that mean I can have just 1 bag weighing up to 25 kgs or would I be allowed to take a bag which weighs 20 kgs & a child car seat which weighs less than 5 kgs?

The car seats are free if they fit on to the pram but we're bringing a battered old pram which the seat won't fit on to.

baggage weight with aer Lingus is 23kg for translantic flights and 20kg for ever where else...

We paid for extra baggage allowance to allow us 25 kg's.
