Buying car insurance on go compare

    Bought a car and put the info into go compare and found a policy with endsleigh insurance. Have now paid and got my certificate for motor insurance what is worrying me is that it didn't ask me for the VIN but just the reg and all the usual questions! Despite this am I still fully insured as I have my certificate so confusing haha

    I don't think they normally ask for the VIN.

    p.s. Is the car modified?

    No just standard car just seen on google there people talkin bout having the vin handy when buying
