Hi all, my brothers GF was having issues with her Galaxy S3, it would only boot to the samsung logo and just stay there. I would imagine the OS has to be put back on the phone but I couldnt find anywhere to get the Android 4.3 (O2 Ireland) Rom. Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

Check the model number of the device. Samsung make a lot of variants for different carriers and flashing the wrong one could brick your phone.

Just install the open europe firmware, it will be fine. I don't think you need the o2 branded one. Only with 3 do you need special firmware.

Because they have a weird network setup that relies on domestic roaming. This is the cause of the much complained about 2g/3g switching problem people experience with 3.
