We've a team entering a few upcoming events and we wanted to get some kit ordered with the companies logo etc on it.

Based on others experience and the boards.ie kit who is the best to go with for this and what kind of lead time or minimum orders would we need?

I haven't used the Boards Kit, but we changed club supplier to Verge this year and I cannot fault service, delievery, turn around times or quality. Plus John who runs it all is great to deal with and isn't one for dicking people around.

I have heard very good things about Verge alright. The boards kit that I have seen is also of very good quality. I suppose it would depend on price.

You also have Velo Revolution in cork I think. http://www.velorevolution.eu/

I have some of their own branded gear and it very good quality. Never ordered custom before though.

I have the Verge and Velotec boards gear. I think the Velotec jersey is better quality but cant compare bib shorts.

To me the quality of the shorts id the single most important thisng. Verge good, Santinis Good, Spin good but Nalini rubbish and Impsport the same.
Lead time is at least 6 weeks usually.

Highly recommend velo, we used them for our club gear, it's holding up well. The shorts are very comfortable regardless of distance (long distance and multiday events) and the jerseys are a get design and fit. Irish compainy with good service. We had a well run fitting evening and I haven't heard of one complaint all year.

I don't like the padding on the new Verge boards kit, it causes me more annoyance than any other kit I have used to date. That aside the quality is very good.

Aidin from Velorevolution is calling to us on Friday with some samples so will let you know how we get on.

I was happy with Watt Custom. Used them a few times and the gear seems to be as good or better than the next. A lot cheaper on small orders at the time. Liked their design too.

My club kit is Velotec and I find it great, if that's worth anything to you. Worth a try as they were the best price for us.
