I'm viewing a house in Fairview this week. From what I know Fairview is a 30 minute walking distance from the city, which is why it appeals to me; but I'm also studying in DCU so I don't want to be left stranded when trying to get to college each day.

Does anyone know if there is a bus route from Fairview to DCU? If so, please enlighten me :)

P.S. I have been on the dublin bus website - I don't find it to be very user-friendly (or else I'm just terrible at these things). Nevertheless, I need you folks to help me out!

Use www.a-b.ie (the National Journey Planner) - put in exact addresses and tweak the settings.

The only direct bus from the area is the 104 that operates from Clontarf to Shanard Road on Santry (a short walk from DCU).

www.a-b.ie put the details of the house in there and DCU as your destination.
