    Meant to post this last week bu the closure of MBNA is shocking news for Carrick/Leitrim. Hopefully those employees can find work in the local region but imagine many will have to move/emigrate.

    Terrible news allright. Been on the cards for a while tbh - they have been winding down for a few years but government done sfa about it so far.

    Try and attract alternative employment to the area - it's been pretty obvious for the last 4 years MBNA was going to close.
