You should, it'll be great, you'll love it.
It'll worm its way into your heart and then before you know it you'll like it more than she does.

You'll have to pretend to be a gruff man when she's around but when the cat goes to the vet for boosters you'll worry and cry... and that's your real fear... that you'll form an emotional attachment.

Get the cat, pet the cat...
get a clicker and when the GF is out train the cat to do crazier and crazier tricks...

Cats can be very nice or total asshats much like humans.

Make sure you socialise it really well or you'll just be sharing your home with a miniature Tigre that thinks you smell weird.

Get a cat. They clean up after themselves. They don't need walking. They use humans as servants. They kill for pleasure (like us). And they're cutie-wootie. But not a thoroughbred cat that costs money. Get a cat from the Rescue Shelter. They're healthier.
And make sure its fixed. That's bollox off for a lad. You do not want a smelly tomcat in the house. And womb out for a girl. Otherwise you will have lots of cats before you know it.
