Am looking to buy a hatchback from UK private seller.
The seller is actually my brother's colleague.
I know the V5c & invoice are required for vrt purpose.
But, as am buying from private person how do i obtain an invoice? is the invoice necessary when buying from private seller?
Is there any thing else required for vrt ?
    Kindly advice, thanks

Just write out a handwritten receipt. That will be enough. Just be sure you take V5c document with you. Do not allow them to post it to the DVLA or it will cause you a major headache.

    Everything you need is here.
