Foodie hotel break, within 2hrs drive from Cavan

    Hi all,

    Looking for some advice on a destination for myself & wife.We just want a nice hotel,spa & either nice restaurant on site or a least close by!We have a 2 year old who wont be with us so want to enjoy it while away!! Based in cavan area so anywhere within 2hr drive.Any suggestions welcome?

    Carrickdale hotel on the Cooley peninsula and maybe a taxi to Ghan House in Carlingford for dinner?

    Raddisson just outside Cavan I would suggest - been 4 times and rooms, spa and restaurant brilliant - staff lovely too
