DVD Player Software

I'm rewatching Breaking Bad on my laptop and this time using a the DVD boxset. I normally use VLC player however in season 3 there is a lot of dialogue in Spanish and in order to get subtitles to work you must enable the subs for the full episode (even the English parts are subtitled)

I tried both Power DVD 11 and GOM player but with the same results as above. Does anyone know any DVD player software that will allow me to enable the forced subs and not have to enable subtitles for the full episode?

    Thanks

Scrap that, turns out subs aren't hard coded / forced for some of the Spanish dialogue. Apologies mods, please lock.
