I'm currently thinking about building an extension to the back of my house but not 100% sure what are my first steps.

Looking at an extension of around at @ 500 / 600 sq ft, however really need someone to help me visualize what I can do with this extension. I have some ideas about what I want from the extension but need to firm them up and also get an experts view.

I figure I’m looking for an Architect to draw up plans to outline the different options I could do. This in turn could then be used for the building phase.

I live in Kildare.. Has anyone do anything similar recently and is there a recommendation you could give? Also would you have an idea of the kind of fee would be charged for this service?

Any input much appreciated
