Very handy yolk. Chap on done deal sells the Bosch one which I have. I find it great for milk replacer and washing yer hands, calving etc. it ignites off to ever ready batteries so you don't need Esb. You need to have a little bit of pressure in your system for it to work. Gravity feed wouldn't work.

    Any idea of cost?
How much water does it heat and how long to heat it?

I think it was around 300 quid or so. Different models for different outputs.
The burner fires up when tap is switched on and heats a copper coil that is integrated in the burners chimney. Hot water in about two to three second depending how close the tap is to unit. Look up done deal. The ad has a diagram of how it works

When you say a gravity pull won't work, do you mean they can't be ran off an ibc tank instead of water mains? Was hoping to get one this winter but don't have water connection in the shed I keep the calves. Sick of carrying milk in 5 gallon drums!

Anyone know of a water pump which is recharegable or battery operated or some equivalent which doesn't require an EBS connection?

Hi there, I bought one of these a couple of years ago of done deal, good job but on mine the burner switches off always after about 12 litres of hot water, then you got to switch off the tap for about 30 seconds til you hear a ticking noise then turn on tap and it goes again, was wondering if you ever had this problem or what would be wrong???. I use mains water pressure so it is not that.
    thanks
