Ive just accepted a place in UCD and I received 6A1s, so Im going to receive an Ad Astra Scholarship (Or at least, I think I do? :o :pac:)
Just have a few questions -
    1) When will UCD contact me about this?
    2) Re: The Accommodation, will this be handled separately to the normal way of booking accommodation? Are we offered rooms in a specific place or? Will we be able to move in at the same time as everyone else?

Basically, any information would be greatly appreciated :o

I couldn't say about when you'll be contacted but it'll probably be soon enough :) In terms of accommodation, you have to book it through the regular channels (SISWeb) and let the scholarship manager know you're interested in rooms. She'll then tag you as Ad Astra and you'll get moved to a different category and get offered a place the next day.

I just booked mine yesterday and could only choose Belgrove or else Roebuck catered, but it might be different for First Years. And yes I assume we get to move in at the same time as everyone else :P

Do you know if we get the accomodation for free or discounted or something? Because I cant afford accomodation otherwise... And Im not going to get offered accom because Im really, really, really low on the list

It's not free but I think you get 45% off, and I'm pretty sure you will get offered a place. When they tag you as Ad Astra I think you get moved to the top of the waiting list.
