Hanging out the washing today and this odd looking bug landed on a towel. Not sure if pictures are clear but it has orange legs Edit: pictures won't upload on mobile agh will try to you upload later. It looks almost like a beetle except the abdomen is wood-like and it's legs and feelers are bright orange!

Their legs are brown.

It's difficult without a picture but have a look at Box Bugs.
