Hi,I am looking for a new laptop.I have read good reviews of Lenovo laptops.I am wondering if any on here have used them? The specs on the one I am looking at are below. What I don't understand is the clock speed...I have an acer with i32330 processor,4ram/750 hard drive, the speed is 2.1..I would have expected an equal or higher speed, seeing as the one I am looking at now has 8GB Ram and 1TB Hard drive..Maybe I am wrong? I know little of such things..Thanks

Processor Number i3-4010U# of Cores 2# of Threads 4Clock Speed 1.7 GHz

Your Acer is a 2nd gen i3, the Lenovo is 4th gen i3

Clock speed isn't such a critical factor recently
RAM and HDD size don't affect the CPU itself

That processor would be absolutely fine for "everyday tasks" - this means web-browsing, office work, watching videos, listening to music etc.
