I have been taking online courses from Stanford and now New Mexico Universities. At the moment, I am doing Web Application Architecture. I would be curious to find about other boardsies experiences on coursera.

It's brilliant. Unlike traditional education, if the course is sht, or not for you, you can just jump ship and leave without any serious repercussions.
