I have spent the last five recession years going to a local hairdresser for my highlights / dying my own hair. It's quite brassy now and I'd like to get a nice colour. Toni & Guy are still expensive €130-160 and even at that they keep saying their junior technician is booked days in advance (€130)! Does anyone have any names of good places who use plenty of highlights and use decent products.

Now it's not Dublin, but I thoroughly recommend Martika's in Blessington.
I live in Dublin but I make the trip out there because the staff are really nice and very good at what they do.

None of your dollybirds like in other salons who are more interested in their own reflections; the staff are all in their late thirties upwards.
I've been going there ten years and I get highlights every time.

They keep a record of the colours you had so next time they know what you want.
    Really recommend them.
Full head of highlights, wash, blow dry, trim, layers cost €100.

I'd recommend Aviary Lane on South Anne Street. Prices are similar to what you have above. I've heard Zeba is also good and if you can get there there's 50% off colour on a Monday - http://zeba.ie/offers.html
Went to House of Colour on Liffey Street for years with no complaints either!
